Weightlifting 101

Starts May 1st 2021

Join Ashley Fennel and Jon Tanguay as they break down the basics behind the squat, deadlift, bench press, and pull-up.  They will cover appropriate warm-ups for each muscle group, proper body mechanics, and accessory exercises for improving strength in each exercise.
This class is a great option for those who have been struggling to increase strength or anyone who is interested in improving their technique and progressing on to Olympic-style weightlifting.

Space is limited to a maximum of 6 participants. You can register online through the Empower Me section of the website, or in-person at the Front Desk downtown.

Join trainer Dusty Paul as we run, jump, climb, and play our way to better health. KidFit is a program for kids ages 8-12 to learn healthy eating and exercise habits while having fun! Kid Fit is perfect for kids who struggle with weight management or who don’t get enough physical activity.  The class size is limited to 8 to allow for appropriate social distancing. Classes will be held in 4-week blocks and will be running through the spring/summer.

  • Tuesday and Thursday 5:00pm-6:00pm
  • Cost per 4 Week Block $80

W.O.W. Women on Weights


  • Tuedsays and Thursdays 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Strength training should have a place in everyone’s fitness regimen… particularly women! With Women On Weights, you’ll learn the proper way to incorporate strength training as well as core, balance, and flexibility exercises into your life through this circuit training style class. Join us for this 4 week series. Will I bulk up lifting weights? No, but you can potentially burn more calories than with just a cardio workout. Research has shown you can continue to burn calories for several hours after strength training.
